The Hilltop Sauna
A hillside spot, with a city view
We're tucked on the edge of Cave Hill Country Park in Newtownabbey, on the north side of Belfast — close enough to the city to be an easy visit, far enough up the hill that the skyline opens out beneath you.
The site is built around four things: a hot sauna, an ice bath / cold plunge pool, a hot tub, and an outdoor wild shower — all set up so you can move easily between them.
A small, hands-on team
Hilltop Sauna is run by Jo and Rachael, a small family team who will be there to welcome you on arrival, show you around and make sure you have everything you need before leaving you to enjoy your experience at your own pace.
Built by our family from the ground up, Hilltop Sauna is a project that has been shaped by love, passion and plenty of hard work. From construction to the finishing touches, every part of the business has been built and created by family, making it a place we're incredibly proud to share with you.

What to bring
Everything else is taken care of — just pack these four things and you're good to go.
Swimwear
You'll be moving between the sauna, ice bath and hot tub, so something you can swim in is essential.
Two towels
One to sit on in the sauna and one to dry off with at the end of your session.
Flip flops or sliders
The ground between facilities can be wet — footwear you can slip on and off easily makes the whole experience smoother.
Something warm
A dry robe, coat or hoodie to keep you warm after your session.
